Laguna Beach hosts nearly 100 galleries and one-of-a-kind shops, and is home to special annual events such as the world-famous Pageant of the Masters and Festival of the Arts.
FIRST THURSDAY ART WALK "ARTIST IN RESIDENCE"
Pacific Edge Hotel and The Deck will be hosting a monthly “Artist in Residence” pre-Art Walk Reception at Pacific Edge Hotel. The Deck will serve complimentary light appetizers and beverages during February, March, April, May, September, October, and November from 4:30 until 6:00. Click here for more information.
ARTIST IN RESIDENCE CLASSES
Pacific Edge Hotel and The Deck will be hosting monthly classes with the Artist in Residence. These classes will take place in the Green Room at The Deck (subject to change), 6:30-8:00 on the Tuesdays following Art Walk in March, April, May, September, October, and November.

LAGUNA BEACH ART WALK
First Thursday of the Month, 6-9 pm
Check out the art and sip some wine as you stroll around more than 30 local galleries the first Thursday of every month. You can catch a free shuttle from the Laguna Art Museum (307 Cliff Dr at Pacific Coast Hwy) or from the Bluebird Center (1590 S Coast Hwy). Admission is free. www.firstthursdaysartwalk.com
ART-A-FAIR
June 26 – August 30
Browse over 100 booths where you'll find beautiful paintings, sculptures, and more. This show is juried, so the vendors are professional artists from all over the world, and the work is gallery quality. Whether or not you're there to buy, it's always fun to look! www.art-a-fair.com
SAWDUST ART FESTIVAL SUMMER SHOW
June 26 – August 31
Right next door to Art-A-Fair, this festival features local artists and has a little something for everyone. Over 200 local vendors sell unique art and craft items, and their prices are surprisingly affordable. Enjoy food, live music, and a generally fun atmosphere. www.sawdustartfestival.org
FESTIVAL OF ARTS
July 5 – August 31
This is our biggest and best known art show, billed as "California's Premier Fine Art Exhibition" and featuring fine artists displaying their best works in an open-air gallery. It's been around for over 75 years and only includes original works of art, so anything you buy is one of a kind. www.foapom.com
PAGEANT OF THE MASTERS
July 8 – August 31
Each night during the Festival of Arts, this 90-minute event recreates classic art using real, live actors in an outdoor amphitheatre, accompanied by live music. It's pretty amazing, and it's one of the hottest tickets in town, so if you can't get in this year, make plans for next! www.pageanttickets.com
SAWDUST ART FESTIVAL WINTER FANTASY
